Your First Appointment
If you require an appointment, we will try to offer you one as soon as
possible at a convenient time for you. You can make an appointment by
phoning 01256 391391. See “Opening hours” for more information.
You may choose which dentist you would like to see at the practice, but
please note that this will depend on the appointments available.
Reminders and recalls
At the end of your course of treatment, your dentist will discuss with you
when you will need to see a dentist again. NHS dentists follow guidelines
issued by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence
(NICE). This means you should attend as often as is needed to keep your
teeth and gums healthy and that you may no longer need a check-up every
six months.
Cancellations
If you are unable to keep your appointment please let us know as soon as
possible so that we can give the appointment to someone else. Missed
appointments waste NHS time. If you miss more than two appointments
without notice, we may not be able to complete your treatment or offer you
NHS care in the future. Private patients may be charged for missed
appointments.
Opening hours
The practice is open from Monday to Friday, from 8.30am to 5.30pm
(excluding Bank Holidays). We are closed for lunch between 1 and 2pm.
